What is A Moon Sign

Though the sun or zodiac sign is the basis for an astrological reading, it is not always the most important part of the complete chart. On the day you were born all of the planets were in different signs just as your sun sign. Each zodiac sign does take between 28-31 days to go from one sign to another. The moon takes only 2.5 days to make the trip from one sign to another.
On the day you were born your moon was in a sign just like your sun sign.
The moon represents:

• Your emotional responses
• Your food preferences
• Your favorite colors
• Your fashion sense
• Best Diets
• Who you will be attracted to in friendship, business and romance

Another factor of the moon sign is how it reacts with your sun sign. For example lets say you are a restless and energetic Gemini and you have a moon sign of Capricorn.  This alone with give your restlessness a purpose and directions. You will often think things out carefully before jumping in. 

To determine your moon sign you can check online to several sources that will help you determine what it is. This is also a factor in why all Capricorns, Aries or any of the signs are not always similar in personality with others of the same sign.

Astrology and Your life.

The interest in astrology comes and goes. However it is always of interest to many people. Astrology is not just your sun sign or your moon sign for that matter, it is a complex interpretation of the planets at the time of your birth. To duplicate your exact chart would take 25,000 years. Astrology is a personal matter and is far more complicated than grouping each sign with specific traits. There are many sites online where you can interpret your basic astrological chart. There will be trends, predictions and even compatibility readings. However if you really want to get the most from an astrology reading you need the advice of an expert face to face. Many of us read the Astrology columns in the newspaper and it is good entertainment. And when it says you are going to have a lucky day or find new romance ..sounds good.
